A couple of weeks ago I had a blog item about dancing presidents. It has now come to my attention that a lot of the current and former powerhouses in Washington love ballroom dancing, and have some kind of a formal cotillion.

They belong to the “So you think you can Govern and Dance?” club, which seems to be a bit male-dominated.

I’ll probably be in a lot of trouble for revealing this, but Vice President Joe Biden tried out for a place a few days ago, and a source got a picture for me.

His dance partner, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, is still assessing whether Biden makes the grade, but clearly he’s good at eye contact and small-talk.
