Did you know that there is travel in them there Internets? It’s true!
Here are just a few of the items that have shuffled across our inbox lately:
If you have a kid, a camera and access to water you could win a $500 Best Western gift card at Babble Playground. How’s that for a photo contest?
Holy cow, Jet Blue! All-You-Can-Jet for $599! Shamwow!
Volvo wants to sell you a car. Volvo wants you to see the world (at least Sweden). Hence, Volvo’s offer to take you to the previously mentioned Sweden.
Do you live in the country or some such non-urban setting? Do you have room in your home and/or heart for an inner-city child that doesn’t have the means or opportunity to see the life you take for granted? You know, the one with the fields and the cows and blue sky and air you can breathe? Give that kid a vacation with the Fresh Air Fund. It’s a good thing.
If your vacation budget consists of 10 bucks and maybe enough change for some popcorn (which is actually another 10 bucks), then check out MamaPop’s guide to travel you can watch: Vacations on the Big Screen.
This summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t time to squeeze in something productive. Also, next summer. Online Courses gives us 100 Productive Ways to Spend Your Summer Vacation. Somehow drinking beer in the sun didn’t make the list, but I’m guessing it’s just a given.
DadCentric puts a father’s spin on travel with children and the art of staycation.
CamperKids connects families and the great outdoors.
That’s the internet as we see it. Tune in next time for more, more, more! (read that with your radio voice)
